Cymphony raises $30 million to track AI agent identities

Enterprise security startup Cymphony has emerged with $30 million in total funding. Sequoia and the SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund co-led the $25 million Series A portion of the round, valuing the two-year-old company, based in New York and Tel Aviv, at more than $100 million after investment. Cymphony pulls employees, AI agents and other non-human identities into a single view showing which systems and sensitive data each can reach. At one US public company, the startup says it found about 85,000 files that had become accessible to AI tools and closed that exposure; in another case an outside collaborator installed an unsanctioned instance of Anthropic's Claude that used their own access rights to scan thousands of sensitive files. Customers include KKR, Syngenta and Cass Information Systems.
