Legal technology startup Safahat.ai raises $590,000 in pre-seed funding
Istanbul-based Safahat.ai has closed a pre-seed round totaling $590,000, with participation from Insha Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Fonu, a fund set up by Albaraka Türk, Albaraka Portföy Yönetimi and Insha Ventures. Founded in 2025 by Ahmet Necip Arslan, the company brings debt enforcement tracking, case file analysis, petition drafting, contract generation and risk analysis onto a single platform, and uses AI to classify files and distribute work. The product is built specifically for Turkish law and Turkish legal language. An on-premises option, running inside a client's own infrastructure, is aimed at banks and regulated institutions that need legal data processed without it leaving the organization. The company says it will spend the money on product development, enterprise integrations and expansion into the UK and Gulf markets.
