Meta's Muse app reaches 83,000 iOS downloads in its first days
The first figures are in for Muse, the AI agent Meta opened to US users on Tuesday. According to market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the app has been downloaded more than 83,000 times on iOS in the US and has climbed from fourth to second place on App Store charts. That trails Meta's earlier launches: Threads drew more than 4.3 million US downloads on its first day and the Meta AI app 108,000. ChatGPT passed half a million installs in under a week in the US, its only market at the time. Muse's Android version sits at number 338 in Google Play's productivity category. Instinct, seen as its main rival and recently valued at $2.5 billion, this week gave every user an email address and said it is building a network in which one person's agent can coordinate plans with a friend's.
