Parties speak in the Navier-Stokes dispute as Tao warns on open science

Everyone involved in the credit dispute over OpenAI's announced Navier-Stokes result has now spoken publicly. Mathematician Tristan Buckmaster says the company used his drafts, pressured him and tried to keep his co-author Levent Alpöge off the paper because Alpöge works at Anthropic; he calls it academic malpractice.
