Polygraf AI builds a security layer for corporate AI use

Polygraf AI, founded in the United States in 2021 by Azerbaijan-born entrepreneur Yagub Rahimov, is building a security layer that sits between organizations and the AI tools their staff use. The layer is meant to control the data AI systems use, detect sensitive information and enforce company security rules, while its AI Behavioral Control Plane product focuses on reducing the risk of employees feeding confidential material into those tools by accident. The company's small language models can run inside a client's own data center or on systems cut off from the public internet. Polygraf AI also develops technology for identifying whether content was written by a person or by AI; its Content Source Detection patent was granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office in April 2026, and it also targets human documents later altered by AI.
