Salesforce launches new AI agents for sales, support, HR and supply chains

Salesforce has introduced new AI agents to automate work in sales, customer support, human resources and supply chains. Hunter, aimed at B2B sales teams, can find prospects, write sales emails, prepare for presentations and build quotes. A Long-Horizon Runtime feature lets the agent follow sales processes that last weeks and keep using data across chat sessions.

Piper routes business visitors on websites to the right sales representative, while Carter answers product questions from online shoppers and takes payment in the chat. Casey and Fin handle customer support, Paige answers employees' HR and IT questions, and Marshall automates repetitive supply chain tasks. Fin's technology comes from a company Salesforce bought this year for $3.6 billion. The Agentforce Coworker platform also gains multi-agent orchestration, which splits complex tasks among specialized agents.
